Internal Wisdom Tai Chi & Qigong

8 week introductory Tai Chi & Qigong courses commencing February 2014 at Bondi Beach and Double Bay.

Internal Wisdom is offering a Tai Chi based Energy practice with a difference. Practiced together with Qigong- you'll take your life to the next level of health and well-being.

This is meditation in motion and a study of energy that moves beyond the common face of Tai Chi. This style travels deeper, going beyond the choreography of graceful movements and serious faces towards learning the artful cultivation of internal balance, strength and wholeness.

The practice of Tai Chi offers an ancient system of tools, techniques, philosophies and working principles. Internal Wisdom has contextualized this practice into modern day living so that we may live life more fully and effectively with greater Grace, Ease and Harmony.

As a multi-modality healing practitioner, Luis Fernandez draws from his extensive background in both the Healing and Martial Arts.
With over15 years of experience spanning Remedial Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Psychophysical Healing, Hypnotherapy, Energy Work, Tai Chi, Qigong, Wing Chun Kung Fu and generally kicking arse on the streets- these classes have been created and are a product of years of experience, practice, good humor and a love for sharing knowledge.

Classes wlll be held on a Roof Top overlooking Bondi Beach and in the Bondi Pavilion. Also opening in Double Bay.

In this 8 week course participants shall learn part of one Imperial Tai Chi form as a framework to:

- Support full body relaxation through greater presence
- Explore your energy field, the nature of energy, how to interact
and harness the abundant power of `Chi'
- Transfer energy effectively through the exploration of your mind and
breath
- Generate greater chi flow for improved well-being using specific
Taoist Qigong exercises
- Understand introductory principles and techniques for self defense
- Shift your body weight with awareness and balance
- Reduce anxiety and stress through meditative breathing
- Understand the principles for physical alignment and a supportive
strong posture.
